  • Create a rough draft and ask your teacher for feedback.

  • Check spelling, grammar, and appearance (such as font, spacing etc).

Ask for Recommendations

  • Don't be shy! Ask teachers and counselors for support.  What's the worse that can happen?

  • Involved in your community or church?  Don't forget they can write a letter of recommendation, too.
